Eclipse is ABInBev’s sustainability-dedicated collaboration platform developed for its network of suppliers and partners. It is designed to promote shared target-setting, standardized ways of measurement, sharing of best practices, and co-innovation. Covo will cover results of implementing this project and share some examples of how:

  • Every 10% increment of recycled content can reduce emissions by 2%
  • Reducing fertilizer usage on crops decreases carbon emissions in the supply chain
  • Reducing water usage normally results in energy savings in manufacturing

Continental AG is a multinational automotive parts manufacturing company aiming for a 100% responsible value chain by 2050 at the latest. The company accounts for around 3.2 million metric tons of CO2 emissions generated by their production and purchase of electricity. These statistics have prompted their goal of achieving Scope 3 emission reduction by 30% by 2030.

Niklas Fastabend will present the initiative that trains and helps suppliers to establish and enhance their own environmental and energy management systems. He will also share the initiative’s progress and further goals.
