Presentation of Continental’s AG supply chain decarbonization program
Speakers
Niklas Fastabend Carbon-Neutral Value Chain Manager at Continental AG
Continental AG is a multinational automotive parts manufacturing company aiming for a 100% carbon neutral value chain by 2050 at the latest. The company accounts for around 100+ million metric tons of CO2 emissions along the value chain.
Niklas Fastabend will present the three steps to achieve carbon neutrality. Since the end of 2020, all electricity purchased for our production sites has been switched to green electricity and is already carbon neutral. By 2040, production is to be carbon neutral and, for the third step, the entire value chain latest by 2050.
