Presentation of ABInBev’s supplier decarbonization platform
Virginia Covo will present Eclipse, the company’s tactical platform for decarbonizing suppliers. Eclipse is ABInBev’s sustainability-dedicated collaboration platform developed for its network of suppliers and partners. It is designed to promote shared target-setting, standardized ways of measurement, sharing of best practices, and co-innovation. Covo will cover results of implementing this project and share some examples of how:
- Every 10% increment of recycled content can reduce emissions by 2%
- Reducing fertilizer usage on crops decreases carbon emissions in the supply chain
- Reducing water usage normally results in energy savings in manufacturing
